So you think you have a photogenic face ? Well this may be true but many of us are not aware about how these photogenic faces are prone for misuse. If you have a above average photogenic face you are a victim of image morphing. You may not even know that someone might have misused it already. But how can we actually stop preventing our images getting misused ? The answer to this question is still a mystery. Many social media apps like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram allows you to download photos only when you are a connected friend of the person.

Apparently, one of my friend was travelling in a Mumbai local train when suddenly one person came and sat on the opposite seat. After a while he started clicking photos of my friend. When my friend objected he said he is taking selfies. Then my friend told him to show the selfies. After strong objection from the co passengers he finally agreed to show the images that were captured on his phone, To everyone’s surprise he was taking images of his shirt claiming he liked it. When asked about why he did not took formal permission for it, he was speechless. may be his intention was not criminal but his act was absolutely offensive.

In another incident, when I was in Goa on a new years eve people purposely ask foreigners to take a selfie with them which is again offensive. That is their greatness that they agree to take pictures with strangers but this act is liable for criticism. Why should we need someones face to light up our photo frames. God has made everyone equally beautiful. Flaunt those assets to get an appealing image why use someone’s else faces like dumb ?

People be careful about sharing your pictures with strangers. You are risking your dignity for it. No matter how convincing the strangers are do not agree to click pictures with strangers. In addition to this be careful on whom you are adding to your social media account. Its good to be friends but hard to resists psychopath.
